This is important because, as owner of the site files, the Client has the flexibility to select alternate future maintenance options if necessary.
The site code is produced using (X)HTML and CSS editors and is efficient and standard as validated by the World Wide Web Consortium (w3.org).
Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash are used to create, edit and optimize many of the graphics and animations. Server-side scripting languages like PHP and javascript are used when dynamic or "thinking" functions are required in a site. Most hosting services offer these languages as a standard part of their hosting service.
The resulting web site designed with these applications is non-proprietary, easily maintained and updated, and highly portable when necessary.
